NY Times: Ancient Human Relatives Buried Their Dead in Caves, New Theory Claims
Homo Naledi, despite having tiny brains, may have lit fires and decorated walls around the graves of their dead, according to controversial new research.

The certifiably insane Quackademics of Evolutionary Paleontology are at it again with their latest kooky conjecturing related to some midget bones allegedly discovered 10 years ago. From the article:
"In 2015, scientists reported an astonishing discovery from deep inside a South African cave: more than 1,500 fossils of an ancient hominin species that had never been seen before. The creatures, named Homo naledi, were short, with long arms, curved fingers and a brain about one-third the size of a modern human’s. They lived around the time the first humans were roaming Africa.

Now, after years of analyzing the surfaces and sediments of the elaborate underground cave, the same team of scientists is making another splashy announcement: Homo Naledi — despite their tiny brains — buried their dead in graves. They lit fires to illuminate their way down the cave, and they marked the graves with engravings on the walls.

Lee Berger, a paleoanthropologist at the University of Witwatersrand in Johannesburg and the leader of the project, said that the discovery that a small-brained hominin did such humanlike things was profound. It suggests that big brains are not essential for sophisticated kinds of thinking, he said, such as making symbols, cooperating on dangerous expeditions or even recognizing death.
“This is the ‘Star Trek’ moment,” he said. “You go out, you meet a species, it’s not human, but it’s equally complex to humans. What do you do? That’s our moment, right now.”

The idea of primitives being "intelligent" enough to bury their dead strikes this Academic ass-clown as a "Star Trek moment?" What a frickin' dork! It is always amusing to watch the euphoric stupidity and retarded circular reasoning of the Sci-Fi cult of "Evolution" ™ every time some new apelike or human-like (but "non-human") fossil is ALLEGEDLY discovered. Evolutionists are predisposed to treat any bones of an extinct race of apes or humans as forensic evidence to support Darwin's delusion. Because of their faith in an unproven Prior Assumption (belief before data), the possibility that the bones are merely from another variation of a fully human race never occurs to them.

We dug up (pun intended) the original 2015 article on this just recently enhanced discovery. For the astute reader, the article itself --notwithstanding its claims of "new species" -- refutes any notion of trans-species "Evolution" ™ - a phenomenon which has never been and never will be observed -- neither in a laboratory nor in nature. Let's set the record straight about the 2015 "discovery" of "Homo Naledi."
In 2015, a nutty Paleontologist allegedly discovered some bones in a cave. Based on that find, the Darwinists have since constructed an elaborate (and quite insane) tale about "Homo Naledi" which now includes a narrative about the lifestyle and culture of this "human ancestor." They even have a place for him on the "Evolutionary Tree" now.
Rebuttal: Oooooh. They trotted out 60 Fake Scientists for this one. It's gotta be true! But on what basis did these crackpots "announce" a "new hominid species"? How do these Paleolithic Prostitutes know that Homo Naledi wasn't human like us? Again, a critical reading of the article leaves your intrepid reporter here very unimpressed.-
Slimes: Scientists on the discovery team noted the mosaic of contrasting anatomical features, including more modern-looking jaws and teeth and feet, that warrant the hominin’s placement as a species ----
Rebuttal: So, this "new species" had jaws, teeth and feet just like we do; but those features looked different. Imagine that! "Hominids" with the same body parts but with a different appearance than from other Hominids. Wow. What a "discovery," eh? Genius! .
Slimes: The hands of the newly discovered specimens reminded some scientists of the earliest previously identified specimens of Homo Habilis, who were apparently among the first toolmakers."
Rebuttal: In other words, they were not at all like the hands of a chimp. They were human hands that could fashion tools and bury their dead. "Toolmakers", eh? --- Human!.
Slimes: With almost every bone in the body represented multiple times, Homo Naledi is already practically the best-known fossil member of our lineage, Dr. Berger said.
Rebuttal: But they are still the very same bones that "modern humans" have! How does this prove that they are "members of our lineage" and not just another race / sub race of humans?
1 & 2. Homo Naledi (left) and the modern human have all the sames bones. Again -- just some in different sizes and shapes and NOT our "ancestors." // 3-5. Humans come in a number of vastly different shapes and sizes as well as an array of different facial, dental and cranial structures. These are just different races and sub-races -- but still part of the same species. (capable of mating). This has NOTHING to do with "evolving" into new animal forms (fish to ape to man etc).
Rebuttal: Humans with small brains. Maybe that's why they died out? .
Slimes: An average H. Naledi was about five feet tall and weighed almost 100 pounds, he (Hawkes) said.
Rebuttal: 5' 0" & 100 pounds? --- Wait a second. Dude! Are you clowns sure you didn't just dig up an African Pygmy cemetery? .
Slimes: If a hominin like Homo Naledi could make engravings and dig graves, it would mean brain size was not essential to complex thought, said Dietrich Stout, a neuroscientist at Emory University. “I think the interesting question moving forward is what exactly big brains are needed for,” Dr. Stout said.
Rebuttal: So, because Homo Naledi dug graves and made primitive engraving with just a small brain -- "what exactly big brains are needed for?" -- asks the distinguished professor. Good question --- because if one such as Homo Naledi could dig some dirt in spite of having less brain matter, then clearly, he could also have developed things like rocket science and brain surgery -- or painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. Ain't that right, professor? . .
This ridiculous research and the fawning coverage given to it by "the scientific press" are all too typical of the Sci-Fi cult of Evolution ™. We have said it before and we will say it again and again and again. Natural selection of traits from an existing gene pool is observable and hence, scientific. Trans-Species Evolution, by definition, is NOT observable and never will be.
