NY Times: Obama and Netanyahu Play Down Rancor on Iran, but Views Still Differ Sharply

President Obama and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel offered divergent approaches to Iran but tried to cool down the personal nature of any dispute.
Coinciding with Bibi Satanyahu's "historic" speech before his tuckus-kissing subordinates in the lackey U.S. Congress, and a whole lot of noise about the "great divide" between the U.S. and Israel, Homo-Obongo dropped a bombshell yesterday, albeit one that Sulzberger and friends are, for the most part, ignoring. A Reuters report just revealed that there is to be no peace deal with Iran unless it agrees to abandon its nuclear program for 10 years! Iran wasted no time is declaring that Obongo's demand is unacceptable. (here)
We fully expected this impossible ultimatum to come sooner or later. From the "See, I Told You So" files, The Anti-New York Times of November 21, 2013:
"With The Times providing protective cover, Secretary of State John Kerry continues his sham of a "negotiation" with Iran. First of all, Iran is a peaceful and sovereign nation whose nuclear program is purely for the production of energy. Hence, there is nothing to reach "an agreement" about!
So then, what is the purpose of pursuing a "deal" with Iran, when there is nothing to actually talk about? These "talks" are for the sake of appearance only, reminiscent of the "talks" the U.S. held with Japan in the days preceding the breakout of war between the two nations in 1941. While publicly advocating for peace, the demonic FDR was actually inducing Japan into attacking Pearl Harbor."
Likewise, we believe that at some point in 2014, an exasperated John Kerry will throw his arms up in the air and accuse Iran of dirty dealing, "We tried our best but Iran will not compromise."
The inevitable break down of these "talks" may even be followed by a false flag attack, to be blamed on Iran of course. One way or another, the U.S. - Israel- Saudi Axis of Evil will find a way to strike Iran. The question is: how will Russia and China respond?"
Toot-toot. Nailed it!
Get ready for the spin when the U.S.-Iran talks fall apart: "Obama and Kerry tried sooooo hard, but those big bad Iranians would not budge. Netanyahu tried to warn Obama about Iran's true nature, but Obama still wanted to give Iran a chance. You can't blame Israel for this one."
This overplayed drama about the U.S. vs Israel is nothing but theater designed to conceal Israel's hand in the ongoing effort to impose war upon Iran. The Axis of Evil needs to create the illusion that its ultimate decision to wage war is unrelated to Satanyahu. "The U.S. attack on Iran has nothing to do with Israel. Can't you see that Bibi and Obongo hate each other? You dirty anti-Semite." - is how the basic gist of the argument will go.
The great game intends for Satanyahu to come out looking like a wise prophet who was right all along about Iranian trickery; and for bloody Homo-Obongo to seem the patient statesman who gave his all for peace, but in the end was betrayed by Iran. This will get the blood-thirsty neo-cons off of Obongo's back, for a while. But the pressure on Obongo will build again if war is not forthcoming. As of now, it appears that the Degenerate-in-Chief is still more interested in provoking Russia that he is in enflaming the Middle East. But with the Republican'ts of Congress breathing down his neck, avoiding war with Iran will be difficult - especially if some sort of staged provocation takes place in the coming months.
After coaxing Japan into "peace talks", the fiendishly clever FDR then pulled the rug out from the Japanese, who were then accused of "treachery". Kerry and Obongo will do the same to Iran.
