Guardian Creates Database of Citizens Killed by US State Forces
The Guardian has created a database called “The Counted: People killed by police in the US“.
Over five hundred people have been killed domestically by the US state so far this year, with at least another five hundred expected to be killed by year’s end.
By percentage of group, the country’s Indigenous people are killed
most often, with African Americans and Hispanic/Latino people killed
most by overall number.
