French Marshal Philippe Pétain
NY Times: Christian Nationalism’s Dark Forebears
**
Analysis By
In this Q York Times article, columnist David French explains how the supposed growth of Christian Nationalism / MAGA in America reminds him of a book he had recently read about "Vichy France." It's titled “France: The Dark Years, 1940-1944." And what exactly was so "dark" about those years which both the occupied and unoccupied areas of France passed in peace and normalcy? Well, Christianity and Nationalism -- the two things which "the usual suspects" loathe and fear more than all else -- actually reigned supreme, for a little while. Can you believe it?
This offers us an excellent "teachable moment" ™ to summarize a brief period in time during which French right-wingers (real ones) were in total political control of one of Europe's great countries which had been plagued by Leftist revolutionary tumult ever since the days of the French Revolution. The Vichy-based French regime which emerged in the unoccupied southern half of France after its surrender in a war which it -- along with Poland and Britain -- had imposed upon peaceful Germany was the best government that country had since the days of Napoleon.
After making peace with Germany in June of 1940 -- much to the dismay and outrage of Mad Dog Churchill and his Jewish Cabal handlers -- the Commander-in-Chief during this brief period of French sanity would be the elderly national "war hero" Marshal Philippe Pétain. Of course, the author of this Times column -- whose surname, ironically, is literally "French" -- frames the facts about Vichy and its similarities to Trumpism in a worrisome context. But from the perspective of "The Editorial Board" of The Anti New York Times and, we presume, its loyal readers -- the government based in Vichy sure enough DID sound like our kind of crowd!

Let's review.
1. Hitler meets Petain after the respectful and reasonable surrender terms were worked out in 1940. // 2. Germany was to temporarily occupy northern France and western coastal regions to prevent the warmongering British from returning to the continent. Southern France, with the new government based in Vichy, remained fully sovereign. // 3. Operation Catapult (July 3, 1940). Churchill took revenge on the new French government by bombing the French fleet docked in Mers-el-Kébir ,in Algeria. The dastardly attack on its former ally killed 1300 French sailors.
1. The "Free French" traitor generals Henri Giraud (left) and future president Charles de Gaulle (2nd from right) abandoned France and conspired with FDR and Churchill to re-invade the continent and topple Petain. // 2. Tall de Gaulle in Moscow with Bolshevik Beast Joe Stalin // 3. Communist French poster praises the de Gaulle-Stalin alliance.
Excerpts from David French's article / book review tell us much about where the Vichy government stood on the issues near and dear to us, but anathema to "the usual suspects."
On the Jewish Question
"The Vichy regime deported tens of thousands of Jews from Vichy France."
Editor's Note: Well, so had over 100 previous governments across Europe. Maybe it's (((them))) --- or rather, to be fair --- a substantial percentage of (((them)))? Just sayin'.
On Nationalism
"While there were plenty of fascists and Nazi sympathizers in Vichy’s ranks, its true purpose could be summed up in four words. "Make France great again."
On Marxism
"Here was the Vichy regime’s core argument: Liberal democracy had failed. It was individualistic and decadent. Marxism and liberal individualism uprooted people from the ‘natural’ communities of family, workplace and region.”
On Family
"The central community was the family. The leader of Vichy France, Marshal Philippe Pétain, called the family the “essential cell” of the social order and said that the “rights of the family precede those of the state.
On the Role of Women:
"This meant that a woman’s place was in the home, and her highest purpose was motherhood. Jackson quotes a Vichy writer: “We must never tire of repeating this: Woman, wife and mother, is made for man, for the home, for the child. As long as the young wives of France do not understand this, do not live out this truth of nature, nothing can be achieved.”
"In October 1940, the Vichy government made it illegal to employ married women in the public sector. In April 1941, it made it much more difficult to obtain a divorce."
On Economic Nationalism
"Jean Bichelonne, Vichy’s secretary general of the Ministry of Industrial Production, announced in 1942 that “a modern state should not be allowed to run according to the blind and simplistic rules of the liberal economy.”
On Immigration:
""Vichy France was extraordinarily nativist and thoroughly antisemitic."France, it was argued, had become “an invaded country” facing a “continuous infiltration of barbarians.”
In French History
"The regime that is rightly remembered by the French as a source of national shame."
Editor's Note: Unfortunately, due to the severely libtarded "reeducation" of the French people after World War 2, this is generally true. May it change soon.
Viva la France!

Viva la France!
Vichy France and pro-German organizations widely used propaganda posters to promote the truth about the "Complot Juif " (Jewish conspiracy) behind the war. The 4th image depicts the British and the Jews using the exiled General de Gaulle as "bait" to lure the French back onto their side.
1 & 2. Untold thousand of French Christian Nationalist patriots were murdered after the fall of France to the Globalist Marxist Jewish ALL LIES. // 3. Female "collaborators" were shaved bald and paraded through the streets. // 4. Marshal Petain, 90, was put on trial and sentenced to death. Because of his military service, his sentence was commuted to life in prison. He died in 1951.
Boobus Americanus 1: I read in the New York Times today that MAGA's Christian Nationalism is very similar to that of the far right French government that emerged after France surrendered to Hitler." . Boobus Americanus 2: Christian Nationalism sounds very scary.
St Sugar: No, Boobuss! What'ss "sscary" is that there are people who actually hate Christ!
