*Elie Wiesel, that miserable little con-man, died over a year and a half ago -- at which time we disnhonored his memory with the piece below. Sugar and I, er, "The Editorial Board" of The Anti-New York Times has been so busy putting the finishing touches on our amazing upcoming book about (ain't tellin' ya the subject!) that we decided to dig the dead rat up and do a easy re-run for this weekend's TomatoBubble posting. Many of "youse guys" (New Jerseyese for the plural of you) who weren't around two years ago will appreciate our "eulogy."

Dredging daily through the Marxist muck of Sulzberger's Slimes and the rest of Piranha Press is a job that can be as dirty as it is depressing. But every once in a while, a bit of good news provides cause for a smile and a "high-five / high-paw" between Sugar the Cat and your Editor here. The long overdue and hopefully unpleasant death of the sainted professional holohoaxer E-Lie the Weasel was one such event.

As a teenager, E-Lie the Weasel allegedly served an 11 month stint in "zee concentration camps" -- partly in Auschwitz and later in Buchenwald. We say allegedly because he never revealed his serial number tattoo and, in a documentary in which he appeared sleeveless, appeared not to have any tattoo on his arm at all (here). Famosa Fotografía del Holocausto Parece Haber Sido Trucada ¿Por qué?

Se trata de la fotografía ante la cual Elie Wiesel posó en tantas ocasiones como superviviente de Buchenwald, cuando este PREMIO NOBEL DE LA PAZ, sí, fue denunciado por haber usurpado la identidad y el nº de Lazar Wiesel por el verdadero superviviente de Buchenwald, Nikolaus Grüner en su libro titulado "Identidad robada A-7713".

Una de las más famosas fotografías del campo de concentración de Buchenwald y que tantas veces hemos visto reproducida, resulta no ser histórica sino que fue manipulada según podemos ver en el siguiente vídeo. La fotografía original fue publicada en el New York Times Magazine de mayo de 1945, ni más ni menos.

La fotografía de la izquierda es la que aparece en la revista de 1945, la de la derecha la que es mundialmente famosa. 

De nuevo me pregunto: 

1.¿por qué hay que falsificar una fotografía que es un documento de guerra? ¿era necesario añadir el desnudo de pie? ¿con qué fin se añade ese personaje? ¿acaso se busca manipular al espectador?

2. ¿por qué los supervivientes no persiguen a los falsificadores de los documentos históricos?

3. ¿ a qué esperan los historiadores "serios" para avisar del engaño?

Como con los niños que denuncian a sus violadores: en lugar de perseguir al agresor denunciado, se persigue al niño denunciante. Con el Holocausto pasa lo mismo: en lugar de perseguir a los falsificadores y usurpadores, se persigue a los historiadores que encuentran datos nuevos.
