Dr. Jacques Pauwels is not the kind of historian you often hear about in the mainstream media. He’s obviously not the kind of “expert” they refer to for historical facts. Actually, one crucial propaganda method consists in excluding current events from their historical context.
Listening to Pauwels makes one realize the scope of the lies we’ve been fed about the Second World War, fascism and democracy, and how myths related to previous wars need to be upheld in the mainstream discourse to satisfy never ending war propaganda needs.
In a speech held December 15 in Montreal, he explained that World Wars I and II were all about crushing mass revolutionary movements.
The myth of the Good War
Every time Westerners’ approval for war is required, the myth of the good war surfaces: the Second World War was a good war, a necessity to quench Hitler’s blood thirst. Pauwels tears this myth apart, uncovering the vicious nature of the western elite.
The reasons for the US involvement in World War II lie in the social-economic conditions of the time, not in an outpouring of compassion destined to save humanity from fascism. The US elite was actually in favor of fascism, a very convenient tool to crush the mass revolutionary movement embodied by the Russian Revolution and the USSR.
WWII was in fact a continuity of WWI. “We are always told that WWI started with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, but it’s not true”, Pauwels says. It is indeed a well established myth carried on by various sources, whether history is written by “thousands of eminent experts, scholars, and leaders” like in Encyclopedia Britannica, or by just about anybody, like in Wikipedia:
The principle Nazi ideological prop that secured massive financial and political support from Germany’s leading industrialists was the Communist and Soviet threat. The main Nazi military drive, absorbing two-thirds of its best troops, was directed eastward at conquering and destroying Russia. The ‘Russian Threat’ justified Nazi Germany’s conquest and occupation of the Ukraine, the Balkans, Eastern Europe and the Baltic states, with the aid of a substantial proportion of local Nazi collaborators.
After Germany’s defeat , division and disarmament, and with the extension of Soviet power, the US reinstated the Nazi industrial and banking giants, officials and intelligence operatives. At first they were engaged in rebuilding their domestic economy and consolidating political power, in collaboration with the US military occupation forces.
By the late 1960’s Germany regained economic primacy in Europe and was at the forefront of European ‘integration’, in association with France and England. It soon came to dominate the principle decision – making institutions of the European Union(EU). The EU served as Germany’s instrument for conquest by stealth. Year by year, through ‘aid’ and low interest loans,the EU facilitated German capitalist’s market penetration and financial expansion,through out south and central Europe. Germany set the agenda for Western Europe, gaining economic dominance while benefiting from US subversion and encirclement of Eastern Europe, Russia and the Baltic and Balkan states.

Germany’s projection of power on a world scale would never have occurred if it had not annexed East Germany. Despite the West German claims of beneficence and ‘aid’ to the East, the Bonn regime secured several million skilled engineers, workers and technicians, the takeover of factories, productive farms and, most important, the Eastern European and Russian markets for industrial goods, worth billions of dollars. Germany was transformed from an emerging influential EU partner, into the most dynamic expansionist power in Europe, especially in the former Warsaw Pact economies.

However, Yarosh has turned out to be Ukraine’s actual leader, despite his not being officially at the top. He was then asked “How many soldiers in DUC?” and he answered, “About seven thousand men.” These would be his real military force, by far the biggest private army in Ukraine. So, in his private files are everyone’s individual background and skill-level as a “paramilitary,” or far-right mercenary, and they all respect and obey him as the top man. He is the indispensable person in this new Ukraine.
How America Changed from Being the World’s

America has changed fundamentally since — and away from — the values
that President Franklin Delano Roosevelt represented both in his words,
and in his actions (that’s to say, in his actual decisions, his
choices, as the U.S. President). Though President Barack Obama isn’t
radically different from FDR in his words, he’s almost the opposite of
FDR in his real governing values and decisions, his real leadership of
the United States.
Unfortunately, most people see politics only by words, and ignore
realities. But, in some important respects (his actions, his decisions),
Barack Obama is — and I hate to say this — actually closer to FDR’s
enemies, Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, than to FDR. This is true
not only regarding the contrast between FDR’s moving America away from
enormous wealth-inequality, versus Obama’s moving America toward even
higher wealth-inequality than before; it’s yet more starkly exhibited in
the international policies of these two post-economic-crash U.S.
Presidents, as will be demonstrated here.
FDR was viscerally and actively anti-fascist and anti-nazi, whereas
Obama simply is not. FDR was anti-aristocracy; Obama is pro-aristocracy.
FDR was pro equal-rights; Obama is actually anti equal-rights. That’s
the reality, not the rhetoric.

A few Democratic Senators and House members have caught Obama’s U.S. Trade Representative in a big lie for international corporations, and are pleading with him to come clean but haven’t yet received an answer, regarding a question that’s central to global warming, international relations, global energy policy, consumer protections, labor rights, and even to the continuation of democracy itself, in the near-term future.
U.S. President Barack Obama is freed now in his final term from any concerns about being re-elected, so he’s fighting all-out for Ukraine’s two nazi (racist-fascist) parties, and simultaneously for the fascist Koch brothers, the far-right owners of approximately 40% of the sand-mucky oil that would be carried by the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline to transport Canada’s tar-sands down to the Kochs’ refineries on the Texas Gulf Coast for processing and then shipment to Europe. Obama is apparently determined now to end his Presidency in a blaze of fascist international-corporate glory for the Kochs and other big oil companies, banks, and weapons-makers, though he’s heading (in the process) to destroy our planet’s biosphere by global warming on the one hand, nuclear winter on the other, or perhaps even by a totally unpredictable, utterly wild, combination of those two (if he cares at all about ecological catastrophe, which his actions show that he doesn’t, really, since he’s simultaneously pumping both global warming and nuclear winter, as will be documented here). He’s been lying through his teeth and merely pretending to be a “liberal,” but that’s over, now that he no longer faces any re-election.
The latest news-report that brings it all together is from Inter Press Service. It concerns the secret Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) negotiations with Europe, and it’s headlined on July 18th, “US Accused of Forcing EU to Accept Tar Sands Oil: Trade negotiators are working to permanently block a landmark [E.U.] regulatory proposal aimed at addressing climate change.” Cary L. Biron writes there that, “Newly publicised internal documents suggest that U.S. negotiators are working to permanently block a landmark regulatory proposal in the European Union aimed at addressing climate change, and instead to force European countries to import particularly dirty forms of oil. … At issue is the mechanism by which the European Union would determine the greenhouse gas emissions of various types of oil and gas. As part of Europe’s broader climate pledges, the F[uel] Q[uality] D[irective] was revised to reduce the emissions of transport fuels by six percent by the end of the decade. In 2011, the E.U. proposed that tar sands and other unconventional [i.e., especially filthy] oils be formally characterised as having higher greenhouse gas ‘intensity’ than conventional oil, given that they require more energy to produce – 23 percent higher, according to a study for the European Commission.”

November 15, 2013, the United Nations Third Committee adopted
Resolution A/c.3/68/L.65/Rev.1, on the Elimination of Racism, Racial
Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance.
The Resolution is entitled:
COMBATING
GLORIFICATION OF NAZISM AND OTHER PRACTICES THAT CONTRIBUTE TO FUELLING
CONTEMPORARY FORMS OF RACISM, RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, XENOPHOBIA AND
RELATED INTOLERANCE.’
This resolution is
unique within the United Nations because it has united Iran, Israel and
Syria, together with 123 other member States, in support of this
resolution, repeatedly, year after year for almost a decade, while this
same resolution, combating the resurgence of Nazism, has been
consistently opposed by the United States, almost in isolation, during
the same years.
The resolution states:
“Recalling the Charter of the Nuremberg Tribunal and the
Judgement of the Tribunal, which recognized as criminal, inter alia, the
SS organization and all its integral parts, including the Waffen SS,

“10. Stresses that the practices described above do
injustice to the memory of the countless victims of crimes against
humanity committed in the Second World War, in particular those
committed by the SS organization and by those who fought against the
anti-Hitler coalition and collaborated with the nazi movement, and that
failure by States to effectively address such practices is incompatible
with the obligations of States Members of the United Nations, under its
Charter and is incompatible with the purposes and principles of the
organization.”
