Obligatorio Recordar

Los latinoamericanos hemos cometido un grave error. Hemos siempre levantado nuestra voz antes los gobernantes norteamericanos y europeos. Nuestras palabras han ido a oidos sordos y egocentricos, nuestros legitimos reclamos han ido ante organizaciones que no velan por el mundo sino por los intereses de los poderosos. Hemos gastado nuestra energia inutilmente.

Nuestras palabras, libros, documentos, nuestra voz, debe ir al pueblo norteamericano y europeo, a los ciudadanos comunes quienes pueden tomar el poder en sus paises. Ellos no conocen absolutamente nada de nuestras realidades, nada les enseñan de nuestra forma de vida y de nuestros problemas, viven engañados por sus gobiernos. Es hora de hablar con los ciudadanos y no con los gobernantes.

We Latin Americans have made ​​a great mistake. We always raised our voice before U.S. and European rulers. Our words have gone to deaf ears and egocentric souls, our legitimate claims have gone to organizations that do not care for the world but for the interests of the powerful. We spent our energy in vain.
Our words, books, documents, our voice must go to the American and European people, to the common citizens who can take power in their countries. They know absolutely nothing about our countries, they don´t teach them nothing of our way of life and our problems, they live deceived by their governments. It's time to talk to the citizens and not the rulers.
