The Islamic State is destroying opium fields in Afghanistan as it routs the Taliban, according to witnesses.

The reports may ultimately result in the US sending troops back into the country to protect these valuable and highly lucrative assets.

In 2009 it was reported that the CIA controlled the opium trade in Afghanistan through Ahmed Wali Karzai, the brother of the former president, Hamid Karzai, who began his career as a fundraiser for the CIA’s mujahideen during the 1980s.

Earlier this week the European Commission’s attorney Bernhard Schima told the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) the US-EU Safe Harbor framework does not work.

The framework process supposedly protects personal data. In 2013, however, it was discovered the NSA and its British counterpart — the GCHQ, short for Government Communications Headquarters — had siphoned off data transfers by tapping directly into under sea cable networks. 

In fact, according to a lawyer representing the Austrian government before the CJEU, Safe Harbor is better suited for pirates than the protection of data of EU citizens. In other words, the system was designed to be hijacked by the NSA and GCHQ.

Last week Obama took to his teleprompter to tell the American people the United States will provide lethal aid to “moderate” mercenaries fighting in Syria to overthrow the al-Assad government.

Obama’s declaration was nothing new. In September, the mercenaries said they were receiving weapons from the United States. Obama had promised the arms a few months earlier but the media insisted “U.S. officials are still grappling with what type and how much weaponry to send the opposition forces and how to ensure it stays out of the hands of extremists battling for control of Syria,” the Associated Press reported.

In September IHS Jane’s, a defense consultancy, estimated “there are around 10,000 jihadists — who would include foreign fighters — fighting for powerful factions linked to al-Qaeda.”

Around “30,000 to 35,000… hardline Islamists… focused purely on the Syrian war rather than a wider international struggle” are participating in the proxy war while “at least a further 30,000 moderates belonging to groups that have an Islamic character, meaning only a small minority of the rebels are linked to secular or purely nationalist groups” are involved in the fighting, The Telegraph reported.

“The moderates, often underfunded, fragmented and chaotic, appear no match for Islamist units, which include fighters from organizations designated ‘terrorist’ by the United States,” Reuters reported last June.

 The establishment media is attempting to marginalize and expel Right Sector and Svoboda fascists from the Ukrainian junta in order to make it palatable now that the IMF, the United States and the European Union are ladling money and support on the nearly bankrupt country.

U.S. News & World Report, owned by billionaire and Obama speechwriter Mortimer Zuckerman, leads the charge. It dismisses as “Russian slander” reports highlighting the extreme nationalist political ideology prevalent within the junta that took control of the government in February.

Despite the junta’s well documented ugly side, U.S. News & World Report quotes William Miller, who served as the U.S. ambassador to Ukraine from 1993 to 1998. Following a return from Kyiv, where he met members of the ruling junta now portraying itself as a “transition government,” Miller painted a glowing portrait of the State Department orchestrated Euromaidan coup.

Early Monday members of Spilna Sprava took over the Justice Ministry in Kiev and demanded President Viktor Yanukovych resign. They smashed windows and erected barricades. In response, the government has threatened to impose a state of emergency.

Justice Minister Olena Lukash said negotiations between the protesters and the government should be discontinued if Spilna Sprava activists do not leave the ministry and other government buildings. “I will be forced to ask the president of Ukraine to stop the talks if the building is not freed immediately and negotiators are not given a chance to find a peaceful solution to the conflict,” Lukash told Ukraine’s Inter channel. Lukash said she would also demand Ukraine’s national security council “discuss imposing a state of emergency in this country.”

Following the action at the Justice Ministry, Spilna Sprava announced on its Facebook page it had decided to blockade the building instead of occupying it following Justice Minister Olena Lukash’s threat to declare a national emergency. “The activists form a tight cordon and are not allowing media representatives into the building,” the Ukrainian News Agency reported on Monday. “According to them, all Spilna Sprava activists have left the building because continued occupation of the Ministry of Justice could have led to an escalation of the conflict.”

New Evidence Implicating Globalist Kissinger in War Crimes

Henry Kissinger, as Secretary of State, routinely facilitated mass murder. And yet, as a prized high level globalist and Rockefeller confidant, this criminal has remains untouched.

Additional evidence has surfaced revealing Kissinger’s role in Argentina’s so-called “Dirty War” against labor organizers, students, journalists, nuns, pacifists and other assorted dangerous terrorists. The United States enthusiastically supported the regime in Buenos Aires while least 9,000 people were disappeared, tortured and murdered.

“Washington’s military and economic aid to Buenos Aires prior to the dirty war was substantial, military aid alone amounting to $810 million between 1960 and 1975,” writes Frederick H. Gareau in his State Terrorism and the United States: From Counterinsurgency to the War on Terrorism. “Moreover, it trained 4,017 Argentine military personnel during several administrations in the period 1950 to 1979; many of the personnel were trained in counterinsurgency warfare. The evidence indicates that the training given was intended for such an eventuality as the dirty war and that Washington is guilty of being an accessory before the fact.”

It has been known since at least the 1980s that Kissinger was intimately involved in what happened in Argentina. “Just three months after Argentina’s generals took power in 1976, Secretary of State Henry Kissinger gave that country’s military a green light to continue its ‘dirty war,’ according to a State Department memorandum,” Martin Edwin Anderson wrote in 1987.

“This document shows that in early 1977 Robert Hill, then the U.S. Ambassador to Buenos Aires, told a top Carter Administration official that Kissinger had given his approval to the repression in which at least 9,000 people were kidnapped and secretly murdered. Kissinger, he charged, put his imprimatur on the massive disappearances in a June 10, 1976, meeting in Santiago, Chile, with Argentina’s Foreign Minister,” Anderson writes.

While Kissinger’s role in rounding up and murdering the political enemies of the generals in Argentina is once again entering the spotlight, his handiwork in the slaughter of untold thousands in Cambodia remains largely a political footnote. Under Nixon’s operation Menu, facilitated by Kissinger during peace talks with North Vietnam, the U.S. military dropped an astounding 2,756,941 tons of bombs on the country, a destabilizing process that ultimately led to the rise of Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge who viciously implemented a barbaric form of communism that resulted in the death of millions.

The official narrative, echoed by the establishment media, fails “to mention that before Pol Pot came to power in 1975, the United States had devastated Cambodia for the first half of what a Finnish government’s study referred to as a ‘decade’ of genocide (not just the four years of Pol Pot’s rule, 1975-78),” writes Edward S. Herman. ‘The ‘secret bombing’ of Cambodia by the Nixon-Kissinger gang may have killed as many Cambodians as were executed by the Khmer Rouge and surely contributed to the ferocity of Khmer Rouge behavior toward the urban elite and citizenry whose leaders had allied themselves with the foreign terrorists.”

Kissinger, as an “elder statesman” sheltered by his status as a high level globalist operative intimately connected to the Bilderberg Group and the Trilateral Commission, will, of course, never be arrested and sit in the docket accused of perpetuating war crimes. The elite are immune from prosecution and because of this they continue their work, often accomplished with unprecedented violence and brutality.

Because he is untouchable and will never face justice, or even the wrath of his fellow citizens, who are largely ignorant of his crimes, Henry Kissinger is free to play a bit part in a comedy routine with Comedy Central host Stephen Colbert.

Mass murder, genocide, napalmed babies, students thrown out of helicopters – the real legacy of Henry Kissinger and the ruling elite is not a subject discussed by Colbert or the Hollywood glitterati. Because most of us are blissfully unaware and lost in a haze or irrelevancies and mindless entertainment, the crimes will continue and Americans will angrily wonder why they are the most despised humans on the planet.

 

Confirmed: Benghazi was Cover-up of Arms Transfer to al-Qaeda

Government whistleblowers exposed real story early on to alternative media.

The corporate media is now forced to admit that the Benghazi attack was staged by a State Department hired jihadist security outfit in connection with an arms transfer to al-Qaeda mercenaries in Syria.

It has yet to point out, however, that the Obama administration attempted to cover-up the real reason for the murder of ambassador Stevens – U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice and the State Department initially pointing to a lame anti-Muslim video – and has consistently downplayed the incident and characterized it as a non-event not requiring congressional investigation and the impeachment of President Obama.

Covert War Between the Pentagon and CIA

A number of guests appearing on the Alex Jones Show following the attack have built an indisputable case that the CIA was shipping arms from U.S.-controlled facilities located at the U.S. mission in Benghazi to its mercenaries in Syria and the murder of ambassador Stevens was carried out by an al-Qaeda affiliated group as part of a turf war between the CIA and elements in the Pentagon.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev attended a workshop sponsored by the CIA-linked Jamestown Foundation, Izvestia reports today (see English translation here). The Russian newspaper cites documents produced by the Counterintelligence Department Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia confirming that the NGO “Fund of Caucasus” held workshops in the summer of 2012 and Tsarnaev attended.

In 2012, Tsarnaev spent six months in Dagestan, a region neighboring Chechnya. The FBI interviewed him the previous year but said it found no evidence that he was a threat. On Tuesday, Homeland Security boss Janet Napolitano said her agency was aware of the trip and, on Wednesday, Secretary of State John Kerry stated Tsarnaev returned from Russian trip “with a willingness to kill people.”

The Caucasus Fund was established in November, 2008, following the Georgian-Ossetian conflict. The main purpose of the organization, according to Izvestia, is “to recruit young people and intellectuals of the North Caucasus to enhance instability and extremism in the southern regions of Russia.”

Moscow has explicitly criticized the Jamestown Foundation for engaging in an anti-Russian propaganda campaign. “Organizers again and again resorted to deliberately spreading slander about the situation in Chechnya and other republics of the Russian North Caucasus using the services of supporters of terrorists and pseudo-experts. Speakers were given carte blanche to spread extremist propaganda, [and] incite ethnic and inter-religious discord,” said the Foreign Ministry of Russia in December, 2007.

The Jamestown Foundation is a known CIA front. It “is only an element in a huge machine, which is controlled by Freedom House and linked to the CIA,” writes the Voltaire Network. “In practice, it has become a specialized news agency in subjects such as the communist and post-communist states and terrorism.” It “publishes specialized bulletins on both the post-communist world and terrorism, which serve as reference for Washington’s think tanks. University scholars and journalists are dedicated to depict a ghost-filled world whose very same hostility justifies the U.S. empire.”

CIA director William Casey and Russian dissident Arkady Shevchenko were instrumental in creating the organization. Jamestown’s board of directors includes Zbigniew Brzezinski, former National Security Advisor to Jimmy Carter. Brzezinski, a high-level globalist operative, initiated the CIA’s recruitment of the Mujahideen in Afghanistan that ultimately produced al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

The notorious russophobe Brzezinski heads up the foundation’s American Committee for Peace in Chechnya, an NGO based at the Freedom House, the latter funded by the National Endowment for Democracy, the CIA front designed to foment color revolutions and overthrow governments. It also receives funding from Soros Foundations, the CIA’s Ford Foundation, and the U.S. Agency for International Development, the outfit used by the U.S. government to run “humanitarian” NGOs instrumental in running color revolutions in former Russian states.

The revelation about Tsarnaev’s whereabouts in 2012 and his connection to an anti-Russian NGO sponsored by the CIA should be considered the missing link in the story concerning his purported radicalization at the hands of Salafist militants. However, since the establishment is providing the script and narrative for the official story, we expect the corporate media to give it zero credence.

 

Chuck Hagel Green Lights Israeli Attacks On Syria and Iran

On Tuesday, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel did penance for his perceived sins against Israel. The former senator from Nebraska was criticized during his confirmation process by the likes of John McCain for not joining the march to war against Iran. Hagel’s opposition to sanctions against Iran were considered antisemitic.

South Carolina Senator Lindsay Graham went so far as to say that Hagel “would be the most antagonistic Secretary of Defense towards the state of Israel in our nation’s history.”

All doubt was put to rest on Tuesday when Hagel met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Tel Aviv. Hagel green lighted an attack on Iran, dispersing any remaining doubt about his past. The Wall Street Journal described Hagel’s transformation as a “recasting” and said he “expanded a U.S. charm offensive aimed at Israel while advancing an Israeli objective – trying to convince Iran that it faces a realistic military threat as it continues to rebuff Western diplomatic efforts.”

During a news conference delivered from Israel’s military headquarters, Hagel stressed that Israel and the United States are in “complete” agreement on Iran policy. He reiterated that Israel, as a sovereign state, has a right to attack Iran for its as of yet unsubstantiated nuclear weapons program.

He said there’s no “daylight” or “gap” between the United States and Israel when it comes to taking out Iran’s nuclear reactors (and, although unstated, its military and civilian infrastructure). In order to accomplish this, Hagel said the United States has agreed to sell Israel more military hardware, including V-22 Osprey transport aircraft and air refueling tankers that will be used in the coming attack. Hagel insisted the arms deal is meant to send a message to Iran.

Sending advanced refueling tanker planes, crucial for an attack, is something not even the neocon administration of George W. Bush was willing to do.

Oddly, U.S. officials believe affirming Israel’s desire take out Iran and selling it more sophisticated military technology will make an attack less likely.

In addition to backing Israel’s “sovereign” right to attack Iran, Hagel demonstrated the Obama administration’s support for Israeli attacks inside Syria. Hagel and Israeli Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon flew within five kilometers of the Syrian border and approximately 30 miles from Damascus in an Israeli Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter.

On Monday, the French newspaper Le Figaro reported that Jordan has decided to allow Israel to use its airspace to stage raids inside Syria. The newspaper noted two routes that will be opened to Israel – a southern route from the Negev and a route through Amman. The agreement will allow Israel to avoid flying over southern Lebanon.

In January, Israel bombed a Syrian military research center in Jamraya. “We don’t think [Syria] should be allowed to bring advanced weapons systems into Lebanon,” Israeli defense minister Ehud Barak told international diplomats in Germany after the attack. He said the attack, which killed five people, was “proof that when we say something we mean it.”

Globalist Funded Think Tank Says Poverty Will Save Planet

The Center for Economic Policy and Research, described as a liberal think tank, has produced a study claiming less work will save the planet from global warming. Economist David Rosnick, who produced the analysis, says the world should adopt a “more European” work schedule as a way to reduce carbon emissions.

Less work equals more time to dumpster dive.

“The relationship between [shorter work and lower emissions] is complex and clearly understood, but it is understandable that lowering levels of consumption, holding everything else constant, would reduce greenhouse gas emissions,” Rosnick writes. “If the world were to follow a more European model of work, we would expect fewer hours, less output, and lower emissions of greenhouse gases.”

If implemented, Rosnick’s scheme would translate into more poverty and suffering, although he does not address that consequence. Instead, he writes that a European system of less work would require a “trade-off” of up to one-quarter of “income gains” in exchange for “increased leisure time and vacation.” Of course, the average worker, deprived of “income gains” in addition to falling wages and monetary inflation wouldn’t be able to afford a vacation and would instead likely look for ways to make up for the lost income.

More than 100 million full-time, 40-hour plus a week workers in the United States make less than $40,000 per year. According to government statistics, more than 70 million earn less than $25,000 per year and around 35 million get paid between $25,000 and $45,000 a year. That’s before state and federal taxes, Social Security and Medicare, etc., take a bite. In other words, millions of Americans are living on the edge, one paycheck away from disaster and can hardly afford Rosnick’s “trade-off” that will do virtually nothing to mitigate supposed man-made global warming. “What happens if the car breaks down? What happens if you get a cavity? What happens if you lose your job?” writes My Budget 360. “Many are told by financial planners to sock away 9 months of emergency funds. It will take years for the average American to put away $22,500. Is it any wonder why millions of Americans rely on Social Security as their main source of income? Millions of Americans are still on verge of losing their unemployment insurance and are basically one check away from being on the streets conjuring up visions of soup lines of the Great Depression. The average income doesn’t even come close to paving a way to a middle class lifestyle. What you have is a shrinking middle class where people are working harder and harder yet being thrown off the treadmill one by one.”

And yet we are told by eggheads like Mr. Rosnick that we need less money and our diminishing lifestyle is destroying the planet. A photo included alongside the U.S. News & World Report article covering Rosnick’s study shows a man enjoying his additional leisure time at the park. It should show him scavenging through a trash dumpster.

Studies have completley debunked the theory that temperatures on the planet today are unprecedented and we are headed for disaster. Despite this, liberal think tanks like the Center for Economic Policy and Research keep cranking out nonsense warning about an impending planetary doomsday if we don’t change our ways – in other words if we don’t reject modern civilization and embrace worldwide poverty, disease and death, what Mr. Rosnick calls leisure.

Rosnick’s study calling for worldwide poverty to save the planet makes perfect sense when you consider who funds the Center for Economic Policy and Research – George Soros and the Ford Foundation.

Pentagon Prepares Invasion of Mali

The Pentagon is currently organizing, training and arming an “international” military force to intervene in Mali next year, according to Pentagon and State Department officialdom.

The mercenary force will be led on the ground by Malian and West African troops. Details on the effort emerged in a Senate hearing Wednesday, according to the Washington Post.

Amanda J. Dory, the Pentagon’s deputy assistant secretary for Africa, said no U.S. troops would be involved in the intervention but said it is likely U.S. warplanes will be used to transport African troops and provide them with air cover.

During the Senate Foreign Relations subcommittee on Africa hearing, Sen. Christopher A. Coons (D-Del.) called northern Mali “the largest territory controlled by Islamic extremists in the world.”

United Nations Calls for Invasion of Africa

In order to lend an international ambiance to the planned invasion, the UN Security Council on Wednesday ordered sanctions against The Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa, said to be a splinter group of al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM).

On Thursday, the New York Times reported:

In late November, Ban Ki-moon, the United Nations secretary general, recommended that the Security Council endorse a plan by the African Union and the Economic Community of West African States to deploy a security force at the request of the Mali government to reclaim the north from the extremists.

In addition to being described as drug dealers, the group is said to “have implemented strict Shariah principles in the area including the amputations of hands of thieves and stoning of couples involved in sexual activities,” according to The News Tribe.

Move On Africa Devised During Bush Era

In July, we reported that Africom was given the green light during the Bush years to move into Zambia, Gabon, Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Sao Tome and Principe, Senegal, Tunisia, and Uganda.

The Kony 2012 propaganda blitz earlier this year coincided with the increased focus on Africa and dovetailed with subsequent coverage by the establishment media of al-Qaeda supposedly expanding operations on the strategic, resource rich continent.

“Many in the West fear that northeast Mali and the arid Sahel region could become the new Afghanistan, a no-man’s-land where extremists can train, impose hardline Islamic law and plot terror attacks abroad,” the Telegraph reported in October.

U.S. officials, however, admit the rag-tag group is incapable of launching attacks outside of Mali and some “independent analysts have questioned whether the administration’s strategy could backfire by embroiling the United States in an intractable local conflict,” the Post reports.

Islamic Radicals Armed with Gaddafi’s Looted Arsenal

The al-Qaeda rebels suddenly appeared on the scene in April. “The rebels, armed with weapons stolen from Muammar Gaddafi’s formidable arsenal, took over an area of the Sahara as big as France in an astonishing 72 hours, taking advantage of the chaotic aftermath of an army coup,” Nick Meo wrote for the Independent.

“Their core was formed by a group of Malian Tuareg soldiers who had been part of Colonel Gaddafi’s army for years, and in some cases decades. Last summer they realized that he was doomed and deserted his army, with large amounts of his weapons which they secretly transported across the desert to Mali,” Meo writes.

AQIM proudly admits they were allowed to gain possession of Gaddafi’s weapons. “We have been one of the main beneficiaries of the revolutions in the Arab world,” AQIM leader Mokhtar Belmokhtar told the Mauritanian news agency ANI in November, 2011. “As for our benefiting from the [Libyan] weapons, this is a natural thing in these kinds of circumstances.”

Pentagon and NATO Repeatedly Arm al-Qaeda

Following the murder of the U.S. ambassador to Libya in Benghazi, it was learned that the Obama administration “secretly gave its blessing to arms shipments to Libyan rebels from Qatar last year, but American officials later grew alarmed as evidence grew that Qatar was turning some of the weapons over to Islamic militants, according to United States officials and foreign diplomats,” the New York Times reported on December 5.

The New York Times reported in October that most of the weapons “shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar al-Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists,” in other words, al-Qaeda.

We are expected to believe these arms transfers to the people the U.S. government claims it is fighting against are little more than happenstance and accidental. In fact, the pattern of arming our supposed enemies was established in Afghanistan back in the 1980s when the CIA armed the Afghan mujahideen that ultimately became the Taliban and al-Qaeda.
