We Need to Talk About That Ricky Gervais Monologue at the Golden Globes

Ricky Gervais delivered a scathing opening monologue at the Golden Globe Awards denouncing Hollywood’s hypocrisy and its love for Jeffrey Epstein. Did he actually expose Hollywood … or did he simply play his part as court jester?

By Vigilant Citizen

On January 5th, Ricky Gervais hosted the 77th Golden Globe Awards for the fifth time. And, according to him, that would be the last time. For this reason, he claimed that he “doesn’t care anymore”. He then proceeded to roast the entire entertainment industry in an unusually savage matter, accusing it of widespread hypocrisy and rampant pedophilia.

Combined with the reaction shots of actors who were all “dolled up” for the occasion, Gervais’ monologue was a surreal sight to see.

Here’s a closer look at what was actually said.

The Monologue

Throughout his bit, Ricky Gervais addressed a wide range of topics and insulted a lot of people. Here are some highlights:

“Tonight is not just about the people in front of the camera. In this room are some of the most important TV and film executives in the world. People from every background. But they all have one thing in common: They’re all terrified of Ronan Farrow. He’s coming for you. He’s coming for you.”

Ronan Farrow is the son of Mia Farrow and Woody Allen (or possibly Frank Sinatra, that is still up for debate). He is mostly known for his 2017 The New Yorker articles about Harvey Weinstein. He also investigated the concealment by the MIT Media Lab of its involvement with Jeffrey Epstein, leading to the resignation of its director Joi Ito, and an internal investigation by MIT.

Despite Farrow’s investigations, Hollywood is probably not “terrified” of Ronan Farrow. Not unlike Ricky Gervais, Farrow is very much part of the system he is exposing. He is regularly employed by mass media outlets such as NBC, the Guardian and Foreign Policy Magazine. He was appointed by Hillary Clinton as her Special Adviser for Global Youth Issues and he also worked extensively with UNICEF. Most observers believe that Farrow will jump in politics in the next years and will, most likely, become an influential representative of the power structure.

In short, Farrow attacked Weinstein because he was allowed to. As explained in my 2017 article The (Authorized) Downfall of Harvey Weinstein, the fallen director was only the tip of a very disgusting iceberg. The real horrific crimes of Hollywood are still tightly under wraps.

Weinstein was a “controlled demolition”. However, before this happened, Hollywood was fully complicit of his crimes. Here’s a video that disturbingly sums up the situation.

After insinuating that there are many other Harvey Weinsteins in Hollywood, Ricky Gervais went on to call out the rampant child abuse.

“Look, talking of all you perverts, it was a big year for pedophile movies: Surviving R. Kelly, Leaving Neverland … Two Popes.”

Later, Gervais alluded to Hollywood’s love for Jeffrey Epstein.

“You could binge-watch the entire first season of Afterlife instead of watching this show. That’s a show about a man who wants to kill himself because his wife dies of cancer. And it’s still more fun than this. Spoiler alert: Season two is on the way so, in the end, obviously, he didn’t kill himself. Just like Jeffrey Epstein … Shut up. I know he’s your friend but I don’t care. “You had to make your own way here in your own plane. Didn’t ya?”

As you probably know, Epstein had lots of friends in Hollywood. He had even more friends in the occult elite that controls Hollywood. Lots of people knew exactly what was happening and said nothing. Even worse, lots of people actively partook and what was happening. Yet, nobody is remotely close to going to jail.

Gervais ended his speech by imploring the actors to not lecture the public.

“If you do win an ward tonight, don’t use it as a platform to make a political speech. Right, you’re in no position to lecture the public about anything. You know nothing about the real world. Most of you spent less time in school than Greta Thunberg. So, if you win, come up, accept your little award, thank your agent, and your god and f**k off”.

This prompted Tom Hanks to do this now “viral” face.

Tom Hanks probably did not appreciate some parts of this monologue. As seen in my article about Isaac Kappy (who accused Hanks of being a pedophile before dying in strange circumstances), Tom Hanks’ Instagram page is extremely creepy.

Considering what happened, one question needs to be asked: Did Ricky Gervais actually “go rogue” and expose the entertainment industry? Or did he simply play his part as a “court jester” to generate some buzz for an increasingly irrelevant awards show?

What Exactly Happened There?

The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association – an organization of journalists and photographers who report on the entertainment industry activity in the United States for media outside the U.S.

In other words, the Golden Globes are about mass media giving trophies to mass media. Taking place at the beginning of each year, the Golden Globes are considered to be a major part of the film industry’s awards season, which culminates each year in the oh-so-important Academy Awards. However, mass media has been facing a major crisis and these award shows are losing the interest of the masses.

Indeed, in the past years, the entertainment industry has been steadily pushing itself towards complete irrelevancy. Instead of properly accomplishing its only job (to entertain), the entertainment industry has been about social engineering, virtue-signaling, and political propaganda. It became, more than ever, a mouthpiece of a morally corrupt elite.

A growing number of people are realizing this fact. Also, a growing number of people are realizing that Hollywood is infested with abusers, lowlifes, and pedophiles, surrounded by a bunch of cowards who are silently complicit to these crimes.

The net result: Nearly nobody actually gives a crap about the Golden Globes. The only way to obtain a shred of relevancy is to have a court jester say the things that the real people think. But without doing actual damage. Nobody was actually called out and no real accusations were made.

On a wider scale, Gervais was actually playing his part in the elite’s plans. Indeed, these controlled accusations act like a vaccine. Through controlled revelations, people are being immunized to Hollywood corruption with small doses of truth. However, the real, dark, disturbing truth is still under wraps.

In other words, through this monologue, Hollywood began this new decade by revealing more of its ugly self – without actually punishing anyone. And that’s exactly what it wants.
