Ron DeSantis just made a stunning announcement that he will sign a bill banning the addition of fluoride to public drinking water, making Florida the second state to end a practice many scientists now call a serious health threat.  The ban will take effect on July 1, 2025.

Senate Bill 700, known as the “Florida Farm Bill,” passed the state House last week 88-27, sending the bill to the governor’s desk.  The bill prevents “the use of certain additives in a water system.”

Fluoride is one to the most heavily ingested neurotoxins on earth. It is branded on children’s toothpaste in plain sight. The marketing by pro-Fluoride groups, such as the American Dental Association, is strong. In fact, the ADA has a page dedicated to Fluoride named Fluoride in Water is Safe and it Works. And well yes, Fluoride is in our water supply. Our God-given resource which should be shared amongst us all is drugged by profiteers. In 2014, a landmark study showed that Fluoride causes a range of Neurodevelopmental disabilities. The study had previously shown a series of chemicals,  lead, methylmercury, polychlorinated biphenyls, arsenic, and toluene, to be culprits in neurotoxicity. However, a later study added Fluoride to the list.

Neurodevelopmental disabilities, including autism, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, dyslexia, and other cognitive impairments, affect millions of children worldwide, and some diagnoses seem to be increasing in frequency. Industrial chemicals that injure the developing brain are among the known causes for this rise in prevalence. In 2006, we did a systematic review and identified five industrial chemicals as developmental neurotoxicants: lead, methylmercury, polychlorinated biphenyls, arsenic, and toluene. Since 2006, epidemiological studies have documented six additional developmental neurotoxicants—manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, tetrachloroethylene, and the polybrominated diphenyl ethers. We postulate that even more neurotoxicants remain undiscovered. To control the pandemic of developmental neurotoxicity, we propose a global prevention strategy. Untested chemicals should not be presumed to be safe to brain development, and chemicals in existing use and all new chemicals must therefore be tested for developmental neurotoxicity. To coordinate these efforts and to accelerate translation of science into prevention, we propose the urgent formation of a new international clearinghouse.

I want to take a step back at this point so that everyone can understand something: Fluoride and Arsenic are revealed as toxic for our brains in the same study. The movement to remove industrial sodium fluoride from the world’s water supply has been growing in recent years, with evidence coming out against the additive from several sources.

Now, a report from the world’s oldest and most prestigious medical journal, The Lancet, has officially classified fluoride as a neurotoxin — in the same category as arsenic, lead and mercury.

The news was broken by author Stefan Smyle, who cited a report published in The Lancet Neurology, Volume 13, Issue 3, in the March 2014 edition, by authors Dr. Phillippe Grandjean and Philip J. Landrigan, MD. The report, which was officially released in 2014 and published in the journal, can be viewed by clicking here. 

Fluoride Classified Along with Mercury, Lead and Others

As noted in the summary of the report, a systematic review identified five different similar industrial chemicals as developmental neurotoxicants: lead, methylmercury, polychlorinated biphenyls, arsenic, and toluene.

The summary goes on to state that six additional developmental neurotoxicants have also now been identified: manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane, tetrachloroethylene, and the polybrominated diphenyl ethers. The authors added that even more of these neurotoxicants remain undiscovered.

In the Wake of CDC Anthrax Release, Even More Errors Involving Deadly Pathogens Are Discovered

Earlier this month, we ran a report on the CDC anthrax blunder. As if that weren't bad enough, there have been additional exposures since we posted that report. This time, it involved the shipment of live, highly contagious, and deadly H5N1 avian influenza samples.

As previously reported, as many as 841 scientists and staff members at a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) biolab were exposed to live anthrax in June. The live pathogen had been sent from a higher-security facility.

Biosafety protocols were apparently not followed at either of the facilities. The anthrax sample was supposed to have been inactivated prior to transfer, but due to multiple protocol breaches, it was still "live" upon arrival.

In addition to failing to properly inactivate the pathogen, samples were also found to have been transferred in Ziploc bags, and stored in unlocked storage refrigerators in an area where unauthorized personnel were free to wander by.

The director of the CDC's Bioterror Rapid Response and Advanced Technology Laboratory, Michael Farrell, was reassigned,2 from his posts, voluntarily resigned on July 22.3, 4 Dr. Thomas R. Frieden, head of the CDC, has now issued a report5 that admits to sloppy work ethics at the lab.

The unprecedented Ebola epidemic has now killed 660 people in four African countries since it was first detected in March. Interestingly enough, angry locals are now blaming foreign health workers for spreading the disease. The fear of aid workers, mainly from 'Doctors Without Borders' is helping to spread the disease, health officials say.
