Today the Supreme Court Justices decided that it would not hear a challenge to New York’s mandatory vaccination requirement for all public school children. The justices said that the policy does not violate students’ constitutional right of religious freedoms.

The appeals court also upheld a federal judge’s ruling that students exempted from the immunization policy for religious reasons still could be barred from school during an outbreak of a vaccine-preventable disease.
Three parents challenged the ruling when their children were not allowed to attend public school. New York officials feel this law is in the best interest of children. The war on parental rights continues on as a very involved struggle that must be taken seriously.
The Supreme Court not even hearing the comments against the vaccine mandate is rather telling when it comes to our country’s ability to fight for getting it’s rights back. The Government’s long arm is parenting more and more of our children by stripping parents of the very rights which used to be accepted as the normal. We are quickly becoming a Government controlled welfare state. When courts won’t even hear your arguments, you know your argument is in a bad place.
