(NaturalHealth365) It’s hard not to feel wary about economic initiatives that value big business over human well-being
and autonomy. But with so much influence over society among the
world’s corporate leaders, critics can be easily overpowered. Just
consider the latest initiative from a collaboration of business leaders
called The Great Reset.
Spearheaded by the World Economic Forum, this reset pledges to promote widespread economic change to the direct “benefit” of the global population. But reading between the lines, many are calling into question just who exactly will benefit most.
World Economic Forum proposes new initiative that pledges to drive down food scarcity, hunger – but many question its globalist, industry-focused approach
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international non-governmental organization. Founded in the early 1970s, WEF “engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas,” according to their website.
Recently, the WEF jumped on the “opportunity” (as they call it) of the COVID-19 pandemic to launch an economic initiative called The Great Reset. WEF boldly proclaims the Reset will “improve the state of the world” by empowering global stakeholders (re: big business figureheads) to “[manage] the direct consequences of the COVID-19 crisis.”
As an initiative, this “Reset” certainly makes a lot of assumptions – not the least of which is that global corporations should function as the “trustees of society” for driving economic and social change. One of the Reset’s key proposed strategies is to promote the production, regulation, and widespread adoption of lab-made proteins and genetically modified organisms as solutions to food scarcity and global health concerns.
Notice that under this globalist approach, science-backed practices such as regenerative farming and geographic biodiversity are left to fall by the wayside. Instead of promoting locally-sourced and regional food production, WEF would only be making it easier for the world’s most powerful corporations to monopolize and remain in control of food practices and production.
Do NOT ignore the health dangers linked to toxic indoor air. These chemicals - the 'off-gassing' of paints, mattresses, carpets and other home/office building materials - increase your risk of headaches, dementia, heart disease and cancer.

Under this new Reset, WEF is also promoting industry experiments like Impossible Foods imitation meats, which in testing have been shown to contain 11 times more of the carcinogenic compound glyphosate than competitors.
Follow the paper trail: Here are some of the big names and businesses associated with The Great Reset
WEF founder and chairman Klaus Scwhab wrote in July that business leaders should “make good use of the pandemic by not letting the crisis go to waste.” In light of this Reset, leaders from a range of powerful industries – agriculture, food, biotech, pharmaceutical, finance, weapons manufacturing, and data collection – certainly don’t seem to be wasting any time.
Well-known WEF associates include:
- Media outlets including TIME Magazine (owner Marc Benioff is a WEF board member)
- Pharmaceutical companies including GlaxoSmithKline and Bayer
- Agricultural and food companies including Cargill and Syngenta
- Impossible Foods, which was co-founded by Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, and Google
This Reset, critics say, is simply a way to make it easier for the world’s most powerful companies to decide what the global population should eat – and allowing these companies to profit in the meantime.
In an interview with Children’s Health Defense, Delhi-based scholar, environmentalist, and food sovereignty advocate Vandana Shiva poignantly calls this “food imperialism,” or the forced adoption of a “uniform global diet” made with agricultural chemicals and Westernized technology.
Stay tuned, as NaturalHealth365 continues to monitor the activities of the “global elite.”
