(NaturalHealth365) In a disappointing move that perhaps too many of us saw coming, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently added the COVID-19 shot series to the recommended list of childhood jabs. This is a “experimental” drug, mind you, that has been shown NOT to prevent people from getting COVID-19 – which, at any rate, is an illness with which children are among the least likely demographics to become severely ill and have an exceptionally high recovery rate.
And while the jab is not yet mandated for schools and daycare (necessarily), this move does give some states precedent to make the shot required for entrance to public education.
When “conspiracy theorists” are proven right (once again): COVID-19 shots officially added to CDC vax schedule for kids and adults
After a unanimous recommendation from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) in October 2022, the two-dose mRNA COVID shot series has been officially added to the childhood and adult vax schedules here in the United States.
The U.S. government now officially recommends that healthy children between the ages of 6 months and 11 years receive the primary two-dose series of either Pfizer or Moderna monovalent COVID-19 shots, followed by a booster of the bivalent shot. This means that, when combined with all the other updated recommendations, American kids are expected to receive more than 70 injections by the time they turn 18 – injections with reported side effects up to and including death.
In an article posted on February 10 by Children’s Health Defense, CHD president Mary Holland says: “Given all that we have learned about the dangers and ineffectiveness of COVID-19 shots over the last two years, it is horrifying to see the CDC now recommend this as a routine shot to children.”
CHD founder Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. doesn’t mince words. In an October 20th Tweet, he writes: “This reckless action is final proof of the cynicism, corruption + capture of a once exemplary public health agency. ACIP members have demonstrated that fealty to their pharma overlords eclipses any residual concerns they may harbor for child welfare.”
Horrifying and reckless indeed.
Did CDC admit that driving factor in its decision to add COVID shot to list wasn’t even directly related to public health?
This decision is especially concerning when the CDC seems to admit that the main reason for including the experimental gene-based drug is simply to avoid red tape rather than to enhance public health and safety.
In a congressional hearing about the move, CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky admitted that the shot – which, we reiterate, does not prevent SARS-CoV-2 transmission – was “only” added to the recommended schedule because “it was the only way it could be covered in our ‘Vaccines for Children’ program … It was the only way that our under-uninsured children would be able to have access to the vaccines.”
Nothing about health.
Meanwhile, readers are invited to consider that some places like Florida and Denmark explicitly do NOT recommend the shot for healthy kids under the age of 18. According to the Associated Press, Denmark’s vaccine program pointed out that kids in this age group “very rarely become seriously ill,” and meanwhile, the Florida Department of Health notes that “[b]ased on currently available data, healthy children aged 5-17 may not benefit from receiving the currently available COVID-19 vaccine.”
Understanding the importance of the risk/reward ratio is essential for parents who deserve informed consent over their children’s health, and it’s disappointing to see policymakers widely ignore that. And never has this been more relevant now that a growing body of research supports the benefit of natural immunity. A February 2023 study published in The Lancet shows that “the level of protection afforded by previous [SARS-CoV-2] infection is at least as high, if not higher than that provided by two-dose vaccination using high-quality mRNA vaccines.”
Read that again…
One of the world’s most prestigious scientific journals admits that natural immunity is equal if not better than the shots at protecting against reinfection, severe illness, and death from COVID-19. (Just don’t say “natural immunity” on social media, lest you get deplatformed.)
