Is there actually a way to satisfy the long-dispossessed and disrespected Palestinians and the never-satisfied "usual suspects" at the same time? It's quite a kosher pickle, made all the more complex these days by the fact that several generations of Jews have now been born and raised in Israel (fka Palestine) and cannot realistically be uprooted and deported to, say, Madagascar, by force. Any final "two-state" settlement would necessarily require the Palestinians to swallow many of the gross injustices and land thefts of the past 100 years, and to accept disjointed -- though hopefully connected by roads and rails -- patches of territory as their new sovereign state.
