During the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, according to a report released by U.S. White House spokesperson Karolina Leavitt, who cited an unnamed member of Maduro’s security detail, it was stated that a sonic or other energy weapon was used during the abduction, which paralyzed the soldiers guarding Maduro, rendering them unable to resist the handful of American soldiers who arrived in helicopters to take Maduro.
