Remembering Anita Bryant as "Pride Month" Dies

*** FLASHBACK ***

NY Times (Feb. 21, 1978): Secular Bookings Off, Anita Bryant Sings at Revivals

Editorial By

Astute observers will surely have noticed by now that this year's "Pride Month" is even more reserved and muted than last year's suddenly reserved and muted month of June. The Fag Flags are not gone, but they are far less prominent. This is NOT by quoincidence! An A.I. query-- which generally yields a good indication of what "conventional wisdom" is saying -- explains:

"Corporate support and rainbow-themed marketing have noticeably pulled back, with brands swapping massive campaigns for more muted collections or pivoting away from public events entirely. Schools, universities, and local governments have quietly distanced themselves from Pride Month by removing social media posts, dropping out of local parades, and restricting LGBTQ+ flags on campuses to avoid controversy.

Recent public polling indicates a dip in overall acceptance and support for certain LGBTQ+ issues. According to Gallup polling, support for same-sex marriage has slipped from a peak in 2022, resulting in a broader calculation by public-facing organizations on whether to actively align with the cause."

In "honor" of "Pride Month," the "Editorial Board" of The Anti-New York Times pays tribute to Anita Bryant (1940-2025) -- a brave and beautiful woman whose career was destroyed for trying to stop the slowly emerging societal sickness before it could engulf society in the decades which followed. The 1977 article headlined above offers us a glimpse of what she had to endure for her efforts:

Anita Bryant's “victory” has been costly. Last year she was booked for 80 secular concerts at $8.500 and up; this year she sings mainly at revivals, sharing whatever people drop in the cardboard buckets that are passed around.

“We were at the top of the list,” Miss Bryant said last night. “Now we'll take what we can, and praise the Lord for changing our directions. Nobody had ever said a bad thing about me in my life,” Miss Bryant says. “It was hard to understand the viciousness. All of a sudden, nobody would touch me.”

Ms. Bryant was 18 when she won the 1958 Miss Oklahoma beauty title and was then named second runner-up in the Miss America pageant. She turned that success into a lucrative singing and show business career. Clean and Christian, she performed during the halftime show at the Super Bowl in 1971 and sang “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” at the funeral of Lyndon B. Johnson in 1973 -- honors which today are reserved only for untalented whorish filth like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Madonna or Lady Gaga et al.

My oh my how the world has changed! Most memorably, lovely Anita represented the Florida Citrus Commission in a campaign of TV commercials, in which she sang “Come to the Florida Sunshine Tree.” Her signature tagline was: “Breakfast without orange juice is like a day without sunshine.”

But by the late 1970s, Bryant had become the target of nasty comedians and elements of the Jewish-dominated press. She would eventually end up blacklisted -- losing both her endorsement gigs as well as singing andTV show opportunities. The attacks and mockery so affected her that, she would later reveal, she once contemplated suicide. What was her offense, you ask? Answer: In the days when socially unacceptableLGBT was taking its early baby steps towards the madness which too many now deem as "normal," Ms. Bryant took a very strong and very public stand against the early cancer. Sorry, Anita. Can't have that!

1. The "deadly sin" of Pride combines with that of homosexuality to form "Demon" month. // 2. The secular Jewish Power behind all things queer isn't even concealed.

Beautiful, smart, Christian, talented and immensely popular --- the All American girl who once sang at the Super Bowl had it all taken away from her for a cause bigger than herself. She had no regrets.

At a time when homosexuality was still generally kept "in the closet" and strongly disapproved of by the vast majority of Americans, Ms. Bryant and others already sensed the coming "tolerance" trend and tried to stop its trajectory. After referring to homosexuality as “an abomination,” Bryant led a campaign to stop a Dade County (Miami, Florida) ordinance prohibiting "discrimination" against homosexuals. Bryant said:

“The ordinance condones immorality and discriminates against my children’s rights to grow up in a healthy, decent community."

Seeing the pedosexual "writing on the wall," she then founded Save Our Children. Her public image — many called her a “Christian celebrity” — was by that time changed forever. Soon afterwards, a television producer (cough cough) told her that the publicity around her “controversial political activities” meant that she would not be hired for a planned variety-show. A few years later, the Florida Citrus Commission -- under intense pressure from "somebody" -- cancelled her $100,000 per year contract.

In October 1977, at a news conference in Iowa, a nasty poofter walked up to Bryant and smashed a cream pie into her face. As the cameras rolled and with pie filling clinging to her face, she prayed out loud:

“We’re praying for him to be delivered from his deviant lifestyle, Father” — then broke down into tears."

Ms. Bryant later recalled in a 1990 television interview:

“I don’t regret it, because I did the right thing.” Sometimes you have to pay a price for what you believe is right.”

Although the modern Globalist-Marxist LGBT movement was still in its infancy during Bryant's day, the "powers that be" (cough cough) knew exactly where, step by step, they were intending to take us. Having someone of Bryant's cultural popularity trying to "nip it in the bud" was not acceptable. So, they destroyed her and made an example to others.

Rest in peace, Anita -- and may "Pride Month" fade away totally in years to come.

The Queen of Super Bowl 1971 was relentlessly attacked and degraded by agents of the Jewish Press and Jewish Hollywood. // 2-4: More contemporary Super Bowl queens -- demonic witches all: Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Madonna

The career destruction of Anita Bryant served as an intimidating example which opened up avenues for Satan's legions to march us toward the homo-tranny-pedo madness of contemporary times.

Boobus Americanus 1: I read in the Anti-New York Times today about Anita Bryant.
Boobus Americanus 2: Wasn't she that homophobic lady who did the orange juice commercials?

St Sugar: Anita Bryant cared more about your sstupid kidss than you do, Boobuss!
Editor: The slippery slope is real.
